Uhmmm. Todd Standing's House Was Broken Into and Bigfoot DNA Samples Were Taken?

There's a rumor out there and it goes like this: Todd Standing had actual DNA evidence of Bigfoot but claims it was stolen from him by a burglar. So, what's happening now is that people are looking for proof of this alleged "burglary". Blogger Randy Flipovic, a Canadian, looked into the matter and there was indeed a report file. Dr. Jeff Meldrum confirms the police department's note to Randy via Facebook earlier:

Randy Flipovic of Calgary reports that he placed and inquiry with the police department and received the following response:

"Hi Randy. I can confirm that Cst. Arkinstall #4441 is an active member of the Calgary Police Service, and has recently conducted an investigation under case # 14271313.
Whether or not the allegations are true we are unable to verify, but we do have a report on file."

Since siding with Todd Standing at the Sasquatch Summit last month, Meldrum quickly came under fire from the Bigfoot community.  Some vocal minorities have decided to criticized Meldrum for supporting a "hoaxer". Meldrum sees no basis for such accusations and has gone out of his way to defend Standing -- who's been very quiet lately.

  1. Publicity stunt. Todd's good at these. Last time he had mountain rescue out looking for him, made the news and boom more donations.

    1. Let's assume for a minute that Todd S actually had Bigfoot samples of some type, he got them properly tested at a lab and the DNA in some way confirmed Bigfoot was a real biological entity. Then the DNA evidence was stolen. First what exactly is he calling DNA evidence. If samples of some type were stolen from him, that's only half the DNA evidence and perhaps not the most important half in my opinion. The important half would be the lab report that could be recovered by hitting the print button on a computer back at the lab that did the testing.
Does anyone really think the lab wouldn't keep a copy of test results. Of course if the samples were stolen before being tested, then they were not proof of anything without the test results.

    2. I don't think Todd really thinks these things out. He was saying that he may have DNA results at that recent conference.

    3. 6:47: only too true. If he had real results the sample would be in a bank deposit safe or in the laboratory. Or at least they should be...

  5. Sasquatch did it, in an obvious attempt to keep his species unknown , he broke in while the Standing family was away and stole back the DNA, REALLY ITS SO TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. It wasn't his sister, she was busy doing make up at the time of the crime.

  10. Tyler Huggins here. As part of my due diligence, before questioning the legitimacy of Todd's claim of a burglary, and due to reservations expressed to me by Jeff Meldrum, I tried to verify it with the police. They told me that this info was completely private, and there would be no way for me to confirm it. I'm surprised that someone was able to get the information that they did, so easily. Doesn't prove anything either way, of course, as anyone can file a report at any time. But admittedly, this does offer some support to Todd's claim.

    1. If the Calgary Police Dept. is like many in the US, your results may depend on when and who you contacted- unfortunately bureaucracy in action. Perhaps it had to do with knowing specific information in this case, although I do not know how if you had that as well.

  11. DNA samples stolen! Of course it has to end like this...and the most ridiculous thing about it: it is probably true..LOL:-))

  12. Right.....and I have a bridge in Brooklyn for sale.
He never had DNA and even if he did why didn't he get it tested and have lab reports other than keep it in his Elmo cookie jar (first place any good crook will look)
Why does everything Standing do smell like a mountain of Squatch poop piled up high ?

  13. OK, Now I guess this makes it 3 men who "allegedly" had Sasquatch DNA samples stolen from them. 1st of course was Rick Dyer who tried pulling that one a couple of times. Next, we had another very questionable storyteller, one; Justin Smeja whose story has morphed so many times to almost make it and him; laughable. Now we have Standing, another guy of highly questionable character claiming that Men In Black type characters broke into his house, knew where the samples were and how they were stored and proceeded to steal his "evidence". All this coming from a believer in the existence of Sasquatch, just not a believer in bullshite artists like Standing, Smeja, and Dyer.

    1. Tyler Huggins here again - I've basically staked my reputation on Smeja not being a liar, but I do understand that people on the outside would think that. When Justin's place got broken into, they stole many things, and Justin never claimed that they took all his sasquatch evidence, as Todd did. He never used it as any sort of Sasquatch-evidence-excuse as Todd is doing.

    3. People like you will never take the time, nor have the cognitive ability to read the details and understand the nuances between direct evidence and circumstantial evidence... I spent enough time explaining it long ago. People can read the facts and make their own minds up.

  14. Researchers often have there evidence physically stolen or if they keep their files on the computer that is attached to the internet, they will be stolen while on line. Then they will be remotely erased, while on line. There is no question that there are multiple players who are interested in keeping Bigfoot as unproven as possible.

    1. Nobody wants to keep Bigfoot unproven. Take that tin foil hat off. You sir are a moron

    2. And you sir, are a splendid disinformation agent. You ridicule people who know that what purpose you have in life. This board and other internet boards, are filled to the brim with persons who want to keep Bigfoot unproven. I can't imagine that anybody would be so stupid as to not realize that after cruising those boards, and then deny that the condition exists. Back at cha, Sir Moron of Morons. Oh yes. Your check is in the mail.

I've seen just about everything but the kitchen sink in the community so that's saying something.

  16. I guess the Bigfoot DNA will be sold to the highest bidder and used to clone Bigfoots and create some type of universal soldier!!! How effing convenient the burglar knew exactly where the DNA was!!! He is just trying to cover up his HOAX!!!
